Al Taher Group fabricates and installs metalwork, aluminium, glass and joinery for Ras Al Khaimah from our workshop in the Al Hail Industrial Area, Fujairah. RAK shares the conditions we design for every day — salt-laden coastal air along the shoreline and the temperature swings and exposure of the Hajar mountain edge. How we work
- Free site visit within 48 hours — we measure the actual structure, not a drawing.
- Itemised quotation within 24 hours of the visit — priced line by line.
- Fabrication in our own Fujairah workshop — no subcontracting.
- Installation by our own team, with committed dates in the quotation.
Why do RAK conditions match our home ground?
Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah sit on opposite sides of the same mountain range, and both combine a corrosive coastline with mountain exposure. That matters more than it sounds. Coastal salt attacks poorly prepared coatings and cheap fittings first — blistering, chalking and seized hardware appear within a couple of seasons rather than a decade. Inland and at elevation, wider daily temperature swings work expansion joints and sealant harder. The specification response is the same one we apply on the East Coast: properly prepared powder coating at correct film thickness, corrosion-resistant fittings on anything exposed, and movement allowance designed in rather than assumed.
Which services do we deliver here?
- Custom metal gates — cast aluminium, steel and automated systems.
- Stair railings and balustrades — stainless steel, glass, aluminium and iron.
- Aluminium windows and doors — thermal break profiles and Low-E glazing.
- Glass works — partitions, shower enclosures and balustrades.
- Metal and steel fabrication — structural steel, sheet metal, bollards and fencing.
- Curtain walls and facade systems — stick and unitised glazing.
What kind of RAK work do we take on?
Villa and residential development work makes up most of it — entrance gates, boundary railings, balcony balustrades, windows and glazing, fitted kitchens and pergolas. On new-build developments we work to the main contractor's programme; on individual villas we work directly with the owner. Mixed-material projects are where our structure helps most: a marble staircase with a glass or steel balustrade runs under one project manager rather than across two subcontractors.
How does the drive affect scheduling?
Straightforwardly: it is planned, not improvised. RAK is a routine run for our installation teams. Site measurement happens up front so fabrication is right first time, and installation is mobilised in defined periods rather than daily attendance. For a defined villa or development package that works well. For work needing repeated short visits at short notice, a RAK-based workshop will serve you better and we will say so.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Al Taher work in Ras Al Khaimah?
Yes. We fabricate in our Fujairah workshop and install across RAK with our own team — gates, railings, windows, glass, kitchens, pergolas and fabrication for villas and developments.
Why does coastal specification matter in RAK?
Salt-laden air attacks coatings and fittings before it affects the base metal. We powder-coat on our own line at proper preparation standards and specify corrosion-resistant fittings on exposed elements — the same approach we use on the Fujairah coast.
How quickly can you visit a RAK site?
Free site visit within 48 hours, with the itemised quotation following within 24 hours of that visit.
Do you work on villa developments as well as individual homes?
Both. On developments we work to the main contractor's or developer's programme and can quote from drawings; on individual villas we deal directly with the owner.
What are typical lead times?
Once design is approved: gates around 2–3 weeks, railings 1–2 weeks, kitchens 3–5 weeks. Committed dates are written into the quotation before work begins.
